EP#23 Make Thai Sentences | เป็นเพื่อน (bpen pêuuan) together with

Today’s expression is เป็นเพื่อน (bpen pêuuan) meaning “together with”. This is an indirect way of expressing invited and welcoming feelings. This grammar is used to ask someone if they would like to do something: would you; do you want to; shall we ~

น้องหมามานั่งใกล้ๆเป็นเพื่อน

nóng măa maa nâng glâi glâi bpen pêuuan

The dog came and sit next to me (and be with me).


วันนี้สามีกินข้าวเป็นเพื่อน

wan née săa-mee gin kâao bpen pêuuan

Today my husband had a meal together with me.


อยากให้ไปเป็นเพื่อนไหม?

yàak hâi bpai bpen pêuuan măi

Would you allow me to go with you?

คุณอยากไปดูหนังเป็นเพื่อนผมไหม?

kun yàak bpai doo năng bpen pêuuan pŏm măi

Would you like to go to the movie with me?


กินข้าวเป็นเพื่อนไหม

gin kâao bpen pêuuan măi

Would you allow me to have a meal with you?
