Today I shared how to form simple Thai sentences using “ตอน (dton)” which means “when ; during ; at” You can pause the video timely and repeat after me to practice your tones.
ตอนเช้า dton-cháo In the morning
ตอนเช้าผมดื่มกาแฟ
dton-cháo pŏm dèum gaa-fae
I drink coffee in the morning.
ตอนเย็น dton-yen In the evening
ตอนเย็นฉันชอบไปออกกำลังกาย
dton-yen chăn chôp bpai òk gam-lang gaai
In the evening, I like going to exercise.
ตอนไปเมืองไทย
dton bpai meuang tai
When I went to Thailand.
ตอนไปเมืองไทย ฉันกินเยอะมาก
dton bpai meuang tai chăn gin yúh mâak
When I went to Thailand, I ate a lot.
ตอนผมทำงาน ผมง่วงนอนมาก
dton pŏm tam ngaan pŏm ngûang non mâak
When I work, I’m really sleepy.
ตอนดูหนังกับแฟน ฉันมีความสุขมาก
dton doo năng gàp faen chăn mee kwaam sùk mâak
When I watch movies with my partner, I’m very happy.
