Make Thai Sentences | ใช้ (chái) to use / to spend

Today we will practice and form easy Thai sentences by using the word ใช้ (chái) which means “to use” or "to spend". Please follow along and speak aloud to practice your tones. I hope you find this video somewhat helpful! Enjoy learning!

How can we use this one?


ใช้เวลาเท่าไหร่

chái way-laa tâo rài

How much time will it take? How much time do we need?


ใช้เวลากี่ชั่วโมง

chái way-laa gèe chûa mohng

How many hours will it take?


ใช้เวลาสองชั่วโมง

chái way-laa sŏng-chûa-mohng

It needs 2 hours. It spends 2 hours.


ตอนเป็นเด็ก ฉันใช้ชีวิตอยู่ที่ญี่ปุ่น

dton bpen dèk chăn chái chee-wít yòo têe yêe-bpùn

When I was little, I spent my life in Japan.


เพื่อนของฉันใช้เงินเยอะมาก

pêuan kŏng chăn chái ngern yúh mâak

My friends spend a lot of money.
