Here's a list of common and unique superstitions that Thai people still believe in. Thailand is a country that was rooted in Buddhism which has plenty of superstitions surrounding Thai society.   1. คนไทยไม่ตัดผมวันพุธ kon tai mâi dtàt pŏm wan pút Thais don’t have a haircut on Wednesday.

  2. ขวาร้าย ซ้ายดี kwăa ráai sáai-dee Right is bad! Left is good!

  3. ไม่ใส่สีดำไปบ้านคนอื่น mâi sài sĕe dam bpai bâan kon èun Don’t wear black to visit others!

  4. ถ้าร้องเพลงตอนทำอาหาร คุณจะได้สามีแก่ tâa róng playng dton tam aa-hăan kun jà dâai săa-mee-gàe If you sing while you are cooking, you will have an old husband.
