から means "because" in Japanese. In English, we usually put the reason after the main clause , but in Japanese the reason comes first. Today I would like to teach you how to say “because” in Japanese.

Examples:
にほんに いきますから にほんごを べんきょうしています。
Because I’m going to Japan, I’m studying Japanese.
あたまが いたいですから がっこうを やすみます。
Because I have a headache, I won’t go to school.
あめが ふっていますから テニスが できません。
Because it is raining, we can’t play tennis.
